Saturday April 14: Revolution shutout Toronto FC

The New England Revolution, led by Tayor Twellman, topped Toronto FC by an ugly score of 4-0 in Foxboro last Saturday. Twellman scored twice in the first 20 minutes (12th and 18th minutes) to make it 2-0 New England at the half. Shalrie Joseph of the Revolution scored on a penalty kick in the 60th minute to make it 3-0, and Andy Dorman scored twelve minutes later to make it 4-0. Matt Reis shutout Toronto in net for New England. Four Toronto players received yellow cards, and the team is winless after their first two games in franchise history. In those two games, they have been outscored 6-0, and are tied for last place in the Eastern Conference with DC United.
